Brooke Aiken, the freshman catcher for the Kearsarge Regional High School softball team, posted a .455 batting average with two singles, two doubles and a triple while drawing two walks and scoring five runs in her first week of action.

Generals and Spartans battle it out in a Softball and Baseball doubleheader

John Stark hosted Pembroke on a sunny but very windy Wednesday afternoon for a baseball and softball doubleheader. Both baseball teams battled until the end after Pembroke roared back from a six-run deficit in an eventual 7-6 Stark win, and Stark’s softball bats swung for the fences in a dominant 15-2 victory.
