Field hockey: All-State rosters released, Concord’s Armaganian named D-I Coach of the Year, John Stark’s Bolduc wins D-II’s Defensive POY

The New Hampshire Field Hockey Coaches Association recently released its end-of-season awards and All-State lists, with several area players earning selections.

Two of the major awards also went to local programs. Concord head coach Nicole Armaganian was voted as Division I’s Coach of the Year by her peers after leading the Crimson Tide to a 13-5 record and a spot in the quarterfinals.

John Stark senior defender and midfielder Adie Bolduc was named the Division II Co-Defensive Player of the Year (along with Hollis-Brookline’s Addison Marchant) after anchoring the Generals defense, which recorded 10 shutouts and allowed just 14 goals in 19 games. John Stark advanced to its third consecutive D-II championship game, losing to top-seeded Hollis-Brookline, 2-0, and finished the season with a 15-4 record.

All area All-State and Honorable Mentions are below.

Division I

First Team: Nadia Hanna, sr., M, Concord.

Second Team: Ally McGonigle, sr., F, Concord.

Honorable Mention: Amy Desrochers, jr., M, Concord.

Division II

First Team: Josie Johnson, jr., M, Bow; Kaylee Jacques, so.,. M, Bow; Caylin Worthen, jr., F, John Stark; Adie Bolduc, sr., D/M, John Stark; Kaiya Mercier, sr., M, Merrimack Valley.
