Concord has issued a downtown parking ban Wednesday night, which includes towing vehicles that are left on the street.

The overnight parking ban goes into effect at midnight Wednesday and lasts until 7 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20 to allow for snow plows to continue clearing streets following the storm this week.

Free parking is available in city garages – at School Street, State Street and Storrs Street – starting at 7 p.m. through 8 a.m. Thursday for permit spaces and until 9 a.m. for metered spaces.
