Twiggs Gallery in Boscawen invites New Hampshire artists to enter artwork inspired by the impossible, the surreal, and the fantastical for their summer juried exhibition “When Pigs Fly.”

Inspired by the idiom suggesting that something is utterly improbable, this theme encourages participants to explore the limits of imagination and break free from the constraints of reality. Silly or serious, mystical or magical, truth or fiction, political or personal, Twiggs Gallery invites broad interpretations based on the theme. And…pigs need not be involved!

The deadline to enter is Sunday, May 19. A prospectus and how to enter can be found at twiggsgallery.org

Local artist Donna Catanzaro serves as the exhibit’s juror. Nationally exhibited, Donna is an interdisciplinary artist with an MFA from Goddard College and a BS from Empire State College. Through mixed media sculptures from household items, she delves into memory and body image, infusing each creation with her distinctive wit. Learn more about Donna at donnacat.com.

Twiggs Gallery is located at 254 King Street, Jct. Rte 3 & 4, Boscawen.
