Highlights:  The Giants came out hot in the first quarter with two 3-pointers from freshman Dow to open the game. The Giants took a 34-17 lead into the half and never looked back.

Key players: Kearsarge – Tessa Marinello (28 points), Ociee Ilg (12 points on four 3s); Winnisquam – Lauren MacDonald (18 points), Caidyn Carter (12 points)

Highlights: Kearsarge went 12-for-16 from the free throw line and limited MacDonald’s scoring opportunities.

Boys’ Basketball

Concord Christian 43, Franklin 40

Key players: Concord Christian – Isaac Bowers (15 points), TJ Charbono (13 points), Jaden Young (10 points); Franklin – Zeke McCoy (14 points), Harrison Kaplan (9 points), Nathan Holmes (6 points)

Highlights:  The game stayed within a couple scores throughout the entire game, but Concord Christian played well down the stretch and Franklin had a few untimely turnovers and missed opportunities late in the game.

Records: Concord Christian 6-7; Franklin 8-5

Girls’ Hockey

Berlin-Gorham 1, Bishop Brady-Trinity-Londonderry 0

Key players: BG – Olivia O’Neil (34 saves); BLT – Kacey Yorston (36 saves)

Highlights:  Both teams saw outstanding play from their goaltenders, but a goal late in the first period was enough to give first place Berlin-Gorham the victory.
