June’s theme is Beach Party!

Intown Concord and the City of Concord present First Friday, a monthly community event that brings together the people of downtown Concord for a fun-filled evening. On the first Friday of every month from 4 to 8 p.m., businesses are encouraged to stay open late and add some excitement to the night by offering sales, giveaways, workshops, and other activities that are sure to draw in customers.

This event is a great opportunity for the community to come together and support local businesses while enjoying a night out on the town. Whether you’re looking for a great deal on some new clothes, a fun activity to do with friends, or just a chance to explore the downtown area, First Friday has something for everyone.

So mark your calendars and join us for First Friday, a monthly celebration of community and commerce in downtown Concord. See you there!

■The Gravy Train Food Truck (Main Street) – Smash burgers, loaded fries and more

■Teenie Wienies (Bicentennial Square) – Handmade sausages with unique flavors

■Live music – NH Music Collective presents Kimayo live! Kimayo is a folk-pop artist, performing in New England since 2019. Her authentic and personal songs depict a humanity that is relatable and comforting. She is creating music that merges adult contemporary with singer/songwriter, and has released a full-length album and four singles in her name. Kimayo was voted the Best of the Lakes Region Music (solo) in 2022. Her shows include her original music and a large variety of popular covers.

■Dance party (City Plaza) – Join DJ Nazzy at City Plaza for a Beach Dance Party and Limbo Contest!

■Community volleyball (State House Lawn) - Bring a friend and play a game of volleyball on the State House Lawn!

■Community activities (City Plaza) – Beach balls, corn hole, hula hoops!

■Achromatic (7 N. Main St.) - Buy one pair of sunglasses, get one free

■Wine on Main (9 N Main St) – Wine on Main will host a free wine tasting for First Friday, this time from 4 to 7 p.m. In honor of the month’s theme, all of the wines will be inspired by summertime and the beach.

■Movement/yoga classes (State House Lawn) - Offering free classes with Matt Harkins of Mindful Mortal
