Wrestling: Concord closes regular season with loss to Timberlane on Senior  Night

Wrestling on his home mats for the final time, Concord senior captain Griffin Norwalt captured a victory at 126 pounds with a second period pin, one of two victories for the Crimson Tide on Senior Night as Concord fell to Timberlane, 52-15, in the regular season finale.

Norwalt pinned Cam Pettengill, sophomore Wayne Gutierrez-Sakakeeny pinned Caleb Goldman 1:02 into the 285 match and sophomore Max Chung won a 3-2 decision over Jacob Morrissey at 150 for all of the Tide’s victories.

Senior captains Hunter Richard (132) and Levi Madison (138) battled hard, narrowly losing matches by decision, 5-3 and 6-4, respectively.

Concord ends the regular season with a 19-2 record in dual matches and will compete in the Division I championship at Londonderry High School on Feb. 17.
