Bow voters will choose between three candidates to fill two seats on the town’s five-member select board.

Incumbents Angela Brennan and Chris Nicolopoulos are on the ballot with Hannah Livingstone, who hopes to bring a fresh voice to town leadership.

Angela Brennan

Brennan, who has served on the board for the past three years, said her focus remains on responsible governance, fiscal discipline and ensuring both residents and town employees feel valued.

She pointed to her efforts in balancing department needs with taxpayers’ concerns, noting that this year’s budget is one of the town’s most conservative in years without compromising on services.

If re-elected, she said she would continue pushing for business development to help lower the tax burden on homeowners while also focusing on infrastructure projects, such as the new cell tower installed this year to improve coverage in Bow’s dead zones.

Brennan also has experience at the state level, having served as a New Hampshire State Representative.

Christopher Nicolopoulos

Nicolopoulos, who has served on the board for nine years and is a former commissioner of the New Hampshire insurance department, said his experience provides valuable historical knowledge of the town’s challenges and the impact of past decisions.

Like Brennan, he prioritizes tax relief and sees infrastructure improvements — especially along Route 3A — as key to attracting more commercial and industrial development.

“If we’re able to continue to bring and attract commercial development to Bow, we are going to be able to leverage the tax base and reduce the burden on our residential property owners,” said Nicolopolous.

Hannah Livingstone

Livingstone, a longtime Bow resident making her first run for office, brings a background in law enforcement as a former state trooper, as well as business experience.

Public safety, she said, is one of her top priorities.

“I am a big supporter of first responders,” said Livingstone. “I will always support first responders.”

Livingstone said she is also focused on keeping taxes low and increasing transparency in town government.

“I feel like where the taxpayers’ money is going, where the profits are coming in, and where that money is being spent, having the people have a say in that is very important to me,” said Livingstone.
