Police investigating shooting in Concord on Sunday

A 33-year-old Concord man sustained non-life-threatening injuries after he was shot Sunday afternoon on Basin Street. 

Concord police were called to the 76 Basin Street home at 2:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found the man suffering from a gunshot wound, police said. 

He was transported to the hospital for treatment of his wounds. 

Police are actively investigating the circumstances around the shooting. Those involved have been identified and police have determined there is no general threat to the public. 

Basin Street runs along the Merrimack River to the east of Hall Street and Interstate 93 in South Concord.

The investigation remains active and ongoing. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Concord Police Department.
