Nonstop flights from Manchester to J.F.K. Airport in New York City will start Friday morning, a welcome addition to the city’s biggest airport that comes several weeks after United Airlines discontinued its service from Manchester to Newark.
A JetBlue flight will depart Manchester-Boston Regional Airport at 7 a.m. and is scheduled to take a little over an hour to get to Kennedy International Airport. Return nonstop slights will come into Manchester after 11 p.m.
The new schedule also signals an increased interest in Manchester from JetBlue, which only arrived at the local airport in February offering flights to three Florida cities.
JetBlue says its service between Manchester and J.F.K. is seasonal; it is currently slated to end in October.
