Girls’ Volleyball

Pelham 3, Merrimack Valley 0

Key players: MV – Mackenzie Shelby (13 assists, 6 digs, 3 aces), Caydence Allberg (4 kills, ace, 6 digs), Aubrie Austin (3 kills, 2 aces, 6 digs)

Highlights: The Pride kept it very close in the first set, but ultimately fell to the Pythons, 25-22, 25-16, 25-12.

Coach’s quote: “We’re so close to being where we want to be. These ladies work their tails off. We tried some new things, with some different personnel. Some of it worked, some of it didn’t. We may not have won a game yet, but I’m so proud of the foundation we’re building for our new program.
