Kiper for governor

I am writing to retract my previous endorsement of Cinde Warmington for governor. While initially confident in her potential to challenge likely Republican nominee Kelly Ayotte, recent developments have compelled me to reconsider.

Upon reflection of the platforms presented by Warmington and her primary opponent, Joyce Craig, it has become clear that neither candidate has articulated the bold, transformative policies necessary to propel New Hampshire forward. In contrast, I have found such visionary leadership in Jon Kiper, and I am proud to throw my support behind him.

Kiper’s agenda aligns with the critical needs of our state. His commitment to investing in a well-educated workforce, affordable housing, and accessible childcare reflects the fundamental pillars of a prosperous future for all Granite Staters. His nuanced understanding of the housing crisis as a primary driver of inflation and his recognition of the intricate connections within our economy highlight his insightful approach to addressing our state’s challenges.

Moreover, Kiper’s advocacy for the legalization of cannabis not only addresses a pressing social issue but could also help to bolster our state’s economy, allowing us to address the housing crisis. His commitment to education funding reform and his steadfast defense of individual rights, including reproductive rights and medical autonomy, further underscore his dedication to progressive values.

In consideration of this, I believe that Kiper is offering the innovative policy proposals and forward-thinking leadership that New Hampshire urgently needs. I encourage my fellow Democrats to join me in supporting Jon in the upcoming primary election.
