Andover

Amanda Hinds  earned the dean’s award with distinction for the fall 2022 semester at Colgate University. 

Bow

Andrew Ralston  earned the dean’s award with distinction for the fall 2022 semester at Colgate University. 

Jonathan Cook  earned the dean’s award with distinction for the fall 2022 semester at Colgate University. 

Bradford

Rachel Ortiz  was initiated into the honor society of Phi Kappa Phi at Massachusetts College of Pharmecy and Health Sciences. 

Canterbury

Kylee Yam  concluded a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from Miami University through Project Dragonfly. Since joining the Global Field Program (GFP) master’s in 2019, Yam has traveled to Baja, Belize and the Galapagos Islands and conducted projects that have made a difference in the Canterbury area. Yam also works as a science teacher at Merrimack Valley High School.

Gilford 

Amber McLane  joined the Gilford Community Church as their new Director of Children and Youth Programs. McLane has worked at Gilford Middle School for 17 years where she is currently the Physical Education and Health Teacher. Past-President and Awards Chair for the New Hampshire Association of Physical Education Recreation and Dance, McLane was awarded Teacher of the Year for Middle School Physical Education in 2018. In 2020, she was awarded Eastern District Teacher of the Year in 2020; while she received the Denise Maslakowski Education Award from Plymouth State University in 2022.

Hopkinton

Emma Rothe  spent eight weeks during the summer of 2022 conducting research on alternatives to morphine with Associate Professor of Chemistry Samuel Tartakoff  through St. Lawrence University. The Research Fellowship Program provides students with a stipend to complete a research project of their interest that culminates in a final research paper, collection of findings, digital media, exhibitions, performances, or other types of creative projects.
