Concord police arrested a Loudon man after being alerted to homemade child sex abuse images that were uploaded to the Internet, police said Friday.

Michael Nadeau, 38, was charged with aggravated felonious sexual assault on a victim under 13 and endangering the welfare of a child for soliciting sex, police said.

Late last month, the New Hampshire Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children that child sexual abuse images had been uploaded to the Internet, which were possible homemade.

The Concord Police Department Computer Crimes Unit investigated and obtained several search warrants to collect evidence, including from Nadeau’s home in Loudon.

Police located and arrested Nadeau on Thursday. He refused the services of a bail commissioner and was taken to the Merrimack County House of Corrections.

Concord Police were assisted in this investigation by the Crimes Against Children Task Force, State Police, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department and the Loudon Police Department.
